Fish Shop is a celebration of the fishing communities and traditions that are at the heart of Chesapeake Bay, reflecting our mission to bring together food, culture and community. Originating in Ballater, Scotland, we have blended our ethos and traditions with the unique offering of DC.
Our modern and relaxed bar and restaurant seats 180, including 3 private dining rooms. Our menu is focused on shellfish and day boat fish that is led by the seasons and abundant in the area, with the addition of select meat and vegetables from surrounding farms. Choose from the à la carte or our weekday pre show menu, weekend brunch, or join us for happy hour on the patio. For special occasions, why not opt for our chef’s menu or book one of our private rooms.

Fall Harvest Fest
Join us for the evening on October 22nd as we celebrate the Fall with our Harvest Moon Party at Fish Shop. Enjoy tray-passed canapés, wine, beer and spirits from the bar, and a variety of hands-on food stations.
The evening will showcase and celebrate some of our most valued purveyors. Chat with them, learn their craft, and taste their produce showcased in a variety of ways by Ria in the kitchen. Whether it’s learning to break down a whole tuna with Top Hat Jeff or shucking oysters with Spike, you’ll get to meet the people behind the plate.
